Colorado team buys Portland’s largest residential real estate firm

(January 11, 2016) – The Portland Business Journal has reported that Portland’s largest residential real estate firm, RE/MAX Equity Group, has sold to a father and son brokerage team from Colorado.  RE/MAX Equity Group has about 600 agents in 12 offices. In 2014, the company was responsible for a reportedly $2.25 billion in home sales.

Chuck Ochsner and his son, Chad, both real estate agents in Denver, have purchased RE/MAX Equity Group. The Ochsners also own f RE/MAX Alliance, which has 21 offices in Colorado. As the new owners of RE/MAX Equity Group, they take ownership of 12 Portland area offices.
