halt stop dont hand(October 23, 2015) – ORS 696.290 prohibits an Oregon real estate licensee from sharing a commission with someone who is not licensed. Sharing your commission with an unlicensed individual is against the law, even when that individual is an attorney who sends a commission demand to escrow, unless the attorney also holds a real estate license.
